We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at dubizzle. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting and financial reporting process to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee the day-to-day accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare monthly management reporting packs with analyses on balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flows to provide insights to business stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of financial and accounting operations, considering automation and process enhancement.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other Finance team members, including Business Partners and Systems Accountants, to provide support to business colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial operations or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
