About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager - Financial Analyst & Cost Controller to join our team at CFI Financial Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies and initiatives to optimize expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor and analyze expenditure patterns per service and per account, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads and teams to implement cost-saving measures without compromising operational quality.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the allocation of expenses to different departments and markets as well as cost centers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely booking of expenses by collaborating with the R2R team.
  • Develop and maintain expense policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, providing valuable input and analysis.
  • Monitor budget variances and work with stakeholders to address deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide analyses on supplier contracts, such as marketing suppliers.
  • Continuously assess vendor performance and seek opportunities to optimize supplier relationships.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support long-term financial planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess the impact of different financial strategies.
  • Work closely with the R2R team to review and validate booked expenses, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to leverage technology for expense tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting & financial management, cost control, R2R, and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, and management accounts.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Previous experience in finance department within financial brokerage is considered a high advantage.
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
