Senior Project Manager Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget. This role requires advanced project management expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the execution of multiple projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Define project success criteria and evaluate performance against metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional teams fostering collaboration and ensuring accountability.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks to maintain team productivity.
  • Communicate project updates risks and deliverables effectively through reports and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients vendors and senior leadership.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress addressing issues proactively to avoid delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies standards and regulations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Allocate resources effectively to optimize productivity.

Requirements

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies Agile OUM Waterfall Scrum.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering Business or a related field.
  • 6-10 years as a PM managing complex large-scale projects.
  • PMP and ACP Certificate RMP is plus.
