Job Title: IT Budget Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Budget Specialist to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial resources allocated to IT initiatives, conducting financial analyses, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the IT budget to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct financial analyses and forecasting to support budgeting decisions and resource allocation for IT projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather budgetary requirements and provide financial insights.
  • Track expenditures, identify variances, and prepare regular reports on financial performance and trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate financial regulations and internal policies related to budgeting and expenditures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the IT budget.
  • Presents budget reviews and financial assessments to stakeholders as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in IT budgeting, financial analysis, or accounting roles.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of budgeting processes, financial modeling, and cost analysis techniques. Proficient in financial software and tools, with expertise in Excel and financial forecasting applications.
  • Attributes: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail. Strong communication and presentation skills to convey financial information effectively to diverse audiences. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
