About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Solutions Architect to join our team at Black Pen Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using various services such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecting and Designing Azure Data Platforms: You will be responsible for architecting and designing end-to-end Azure Data Platforms, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, pipelines, BI, and Data Analytics solutions.
  • Presales and Proposal Writing: You will work with clients to develop data technology strategy and roadmaps, and plan delivery. You will also be responsible for presales, estimating, and proposal writing, responding to RFPs.
  • Staying Up-to-Date with Emerging Technologies: You will remain up-to-date with new and emerging technologies and work with clients to understand business needs and translate them into reporting and data analytics functionality.
  • Leading Delivery Teams: You will oversee and support delivery team outputs, enforcing technical architecture and documentation standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Analysing and Resolving Issues: You will analyse, implement, and resolve issues with existing Azure Data Platforms.
  • Providing Technical Guidance: You will provide mentoring and hands-on guidance to other team members.
