Software Quality Assurance Expert

Our organization is seeking a meticulous Software Quality Assurance Expert to ensure the excellence of our software products. This critical role involves overseeing rigorous testing and quality control processes to guarantee reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project requirements.
  • Perform thorough functional, regression, and usability testing to verify software meets defined standards.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, collaborating with developers for timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of testing processes, including reporting on test results and communicating findings to stakeholders.
  • Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on functional specifications to ensure testability.
  • Support the implementation of quality assurance best practices and continuously seek to enhance testing methodologies.
  • Stay informed about new testing tools and technologies to drive improvements in quality control processes.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance or quality control roles.
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong experience in manual testing processes across web and mobile applications.
  • Proficient in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with automation testing tools is a plus.
