Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards through meticulous testing processes. This will involve developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements, as well as conducting manual testing across various platforms.

The QA Specialist will work closely with developers and project managers to understand requirements and clarify testing criteria, documenting and tracking defects using bug tracking tools, and providing regular updates to the QA team and management.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent analytical skills, and is able to communicate effectively with stakeholders. A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
  • Experience in manual testing techniques across web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Ability to write clear and concise test documentation and reports.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
