**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced **Area Supervisor** to oversee operations in the **Sulphuric Acid Plant (SAP)** area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the SAP area, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the Sulphuric Acid Plant area.
2. Lead and manage a team of operators and technicians to meet production targets and quality standards.
3. Monitor plant processes, equipment, and performance indicators to ensure optimal production efficiency.
4. Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
5. Conduct regular inspections, maintenance activities, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
6. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to identify and address equipment maintenance and repair needs.
7. Coordinate with other departments to optimize plant operations and resolve any cross-functional issues.
8. Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance levels.
9. Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance activities, and safety reports.
10. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and environmental standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a Sulphuric Acid Plant or similar industrial setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in monitoring and optimizing plant processes.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
**Language Requirements:**
- Native Arabic speaker.
- Excellent command of English.
