Description

We are looking for a Quality Analyst to join our E-Commerce Products team. Candidate will be an ambassador to drive quality within the team and is in charge of all testing activities including exploratory/usability/performance/acceptance/integration/security testing. Candidate is expected to automate tests and processes where possible to drive value and efficiency. 

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and strategies using Karate, Selenium, and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) to ensure product correctness before launch.
  • Perform diverse testing activities including exploratory, usability, performance, and integration testing to validate product functionality and stability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to design and implement automation solutions that prevent regressions and enhance product reliability.
  • Identify quality gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across testing processes and automation frameworks.
  • Define, document, and implement QA processes and best practices to optimize and scale testing efforts across projects.
  • Establish and track quality metrics to measure test coverage, automation effectiveness, efficiency, and overall product quality.
  • Participate in continuous integration (CI/CD) initiatives, integrating automated tests into build pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable releases.
Qualifications
  • Solid engineering background with strong hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer or in a similar QA automation role.
  • Excellent understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficient in automation testing tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Karate, and the Page Object Model design pattern.
  • Practical experience implementing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin syntax and frameworks such as Cucumber or Karate DSL.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and associated practices, including TDD, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins).
  • Experience performing load, performance, usability, and security testing to ensure comprehensive product validation.
  • Skilled in test data creation and management for complex test scenarios.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems, with experience validating their integrations and resilience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to improving automation coverage and testing efficiency.
