JOB TITLE: Information & Cloud Security Executive

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Business Solutions

MAIN LOCATION: Amman, Jordan

Objective:

The Information Security Officer will play a key role in analyzing business security and privacy requirements, strengthening and optimizing cloud infrastructure security, and contributing as a core member of the Information Security team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role with proven involvement in developing, implementing, and managing corporate governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) frameworks. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge of international security and compliance standards, including ISO, GDPR, PCI DSS, and related frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001.
  • To implement policy changes as required by the business and the demanding nature of cloud and cyber security
  • Administer, monitor, and improve endpoint protection, DLP, and related security tools.
  • Manage and support Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to protect corporate devices and data.
  • Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Monitor systems and respond to alerts promptly, proactively and efficiently.
  • To enhance overall security architecture

Essential Skills:

  • Up to 3 years of professional experience in information security or a related IT field.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 27001 implementation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in cloud security principles, standards, and tools, with a strong focus on Azure environments; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Practical experience in endpoint protection, monitoring, and response tools.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with DAMA frameworks and data governance best practices.
  • Experience in NinjaOne, Action1, or similar RMM tools.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as:
    • Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
    • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
    • CompTIA CySA+
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and frameworks.

Additional Requirements:

  • In addition to the responsibilities listed above the postholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Head of Business Solutions from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.
  • To participate in the annual performance appraisal process and objective scheme.
  • It's important during employment with APG and anytime thereafter that any information relating to APG is treated with the strictest confidentiality.
