Optimiza is looking for a dedicated PaaS (Platform as a Service) Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that empower our clients to build, deploy, and manage their applications efficiently. You will leverage your experience in cloud development to create robust platforms that enhance developer productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based PaaS solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement APIs and integration points to connect various services and components within the PaaS environment.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of PaaS applications.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of cloud applications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Document architecture, code, and configuration processes for knowledge sharing and team training.
  • Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices to enhance PaaS offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud application development with a focus on PaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate) is a plus.
