DevOps specialist

Optimiza is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Specialist to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing DevOps processes, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), automation, and infrastructure as code. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the collaboration between development and operations teams to deliver high-quality software applications efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, providing solutions for system resource optimizations.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the DevOps processes and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the DevOps processes and workflows.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role with a strong focus on automation and continuous delivery.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, and source code management tools like Git.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions) are a plus.
