Optimiza is seeking a skilled Senior Back-end Developer to join our innovative tech team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust back-end systems and services that power our web applications. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable back-end architectures using technologies such as , Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components to facilitate smooth data exchange.
  • Optimize existing back-end systems for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Monitor and maintain system health, performance, and security through logging, debugging, and proactive troubleshooting.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best coding practices within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve back-end development processes and methodologies.
  • Document development processes and technical specifications for reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in back-end development with a strong focus on server-side technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as , Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Strong experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and knowledge of database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with API development, including RESTful and GraphQL services.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of application security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with an emphasis on mentoring and sharing knowledge.
