The following is a brief description of the role.

Generic responsibilities (max 10) 

These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. .

  1. Ensures compliance with NRC (global and national) policies and procedures, handbooks and guidelines and/or propose new initiatives to bridge gaps and implement these.
  2. Identify, analyse and evaluate key processes and gaps in the team's activities and make recommendations for improvement. 
  3. Monitors the progress of the team activities and ensures they are implemented in accordance with quality, budget and donor guidelines and/or monitors the progress and the quality of the team output 
  4. Supports assigned staff in their professional development, identifies training needs, supports staff to achieve the objectives defined in their learning development plans and/or provides advanced technical support and develops capacity building initiatives to enhance the technical knowledge and professional development of staff.
  5. Conduct and follow up daily operational logistic activities 
  6. Prepare and develop logistic reports as required by Country/Area office
  7. Support in development of SOPs as requested
  8. Ensure proper filing of all support documents
  9. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the logistic function 
  10.  Contribute to the implementation of Safe and Inclusive Programming Minimum Standards across area of responsibility.
