CardWorks Servicing, LLC provides end-to end operational servicing functions for credit cards, secured cards, and installment loans.  We service consumer and small business loans across the credit spectrum and offers backup servicing and due diligence services to capital providers and trustees.

Merrick Bank is an FDIC-insured Utah Industrial Loan Bank.  Merrick operates three main business lines:  credit cards, recreational lending, and merchant services.

Carson Smithfield, LLC provides a variety of post-charge-off debt recovery services, including digital self-service, IVR, live agent, and external agency management.

What You'll Do

  • Lead & Inspire: Provide day-to-day leadership for compliance analysts and specialists, setting priorities, allocating resources, and driving strong execution.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Oversee advisory support for credit card products, ensuring accurate interpretation of laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Risk Management: Integrate compliance requirements into product development, marketing, and operations to proactively manage regulatory risk.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve risk assessments, testing plans, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Change Management: Lead oversight of Change Management Risk Assessments (CMRAs) for projects, regulatory updates, and business changes.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage issue triage, control evaluation, and remediation validation, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units and risk teams to support informed decision-making and maintain transparency.
  • Reporting & Insights: Prepare compliance dashboards and metrics for senior leadership, delivering actionable insights.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 8+ years in compliance and regulatory banking (consumer credit cards preferred); 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Knowledge: Advanced understanding of banking laws and regulations.
  • Certifications: CRCM, CAMS strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Independent decision-making and sound judgment
    • Proficiency with Archer, Excel, and SharePoint
