Who We Are
CardWorks, Inc. is a diversified consumer finance service provider and parent company of CardWorks Servicing, LLC, Merrick Bank and Carson Smithfield, LLC.
CardWorks Servicing, LLC provides end-to end operational servicing functions for credit cards, secured cards, and installment loans. We service consumer and small business loans across the credit spectrum and offers backup servicing and due diligence services to capital providers and trustees.
Merrick Bank is an FDIC-insured Utah Industrial Loan Bank. Merrick operates three main business lines: credit cards, recreational lending, and merchant services.
Carson Smithfield, LLC provides a variety of post-charge-off debt recovery services, including digital self-service, IVR, live agent, and external agency management.
Key Responsibilities:
List Management: Write the SQL pulling customer data for one-time and ongoing email marketing campaigns.
Campaign Analytics: Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, ROI, and customer response across acquisition, retention, and cross-sell initiatives.
Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Marketing Support: Partner with marketing teams to provide data-driven recommendations for messaging, channel selection, and timing.
Tool & Platform Management: Maintain and optimize marketing databases, dashboards, and analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Power BI, CDPs).
Performance Reporting: Deliver regular insights to stakeholders on portfolio health, customer trends, and marketing impact.
Collaborates Cross-Functionally: Partners closely with internal stakeholders—including Data Management, Digital Product, Finance, Risk Partners, Compliance, and external vendors to coordinate efforts, share insights, and ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business, Finance, Statistics, Engineering) is required.
Five (5) years' experience using data analysis to inform strategy or product decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong experience in writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
Strong experience in pulling and validating data lists for accuracy and completeness.
Proficient in ability to create quick, clear PowerPoint slides to summarize findings and support decision-making.
Experience automating data controls and reporting using Power BI.
Experience automating internal email communications related to data controls and processes.
Strong communications skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
Proven ability to develop cross-functional relationships and get work done as a team.
Previous experience in consumer financial services or fintech industries, particularly Credit Card.
Experience with Salesforce data and marketing campaigns.
Experience with omnichannel marketing delivery & monitoring.
Familiarity with consumer financial services regulations.
