Senior Infrastructure Assurance Specialist

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant field from a recognized university.

Experience:

• +5 years of experience in IT within specifically in infrastructure.

Competencies:

• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Established interpersonal & analytical skills
• Strong business orientation and sound knowledge of banking business dynamics and fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work collectively with other teams
• Change Management methodologies and best practices.

Accountabilities and Key Roles:

• Ensure all infrastructure-related changes are properly detected, reviewed, and approved before implementation.
• Actively participate & arrange for the impact assessment for infrastructure changes, analyzing potential risks and ensuring all effects on systems and services are evaluated before implementation.
• Assist in capacity planning for infrastructure systems, ensuring that resource utilization is optimized and future demands are accounted for.
• Regular reports on key infrastructure metrics, including capacity, changes, and inspection outcomes.
• Maintain dashboards to track progress on ongoing infrastructure initiatives
• Participate in scheduled inspections of infrastructure systems to ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
• Follow the infrastructure assurance calendar for critical events, including inspections, reporting deadlines, capacity reviews, and change management cycles.
• contribute to the continuous improvement of change management, capacity planning, and inspection processes.
• Identify potential improvements in workflows, recommend enhancements, and support implementation.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Infrastructure Assurance Manager, ensuring they are completed with accuracy and within the designated timeframes.
• Identify and implement methods or tools to detect unapproved or undocumented infrastructure changes, ensuring that all modifications are tracked and reviewed.
• Perform control self-assessments specifically focused on the change management process, evaluating its effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
• Create and maintain an activity matrix for infrastructure teams, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined for each activity.
• Perform periodic reviews of the activity matrix to assess its accuracy and ensure alignment with current team objectives and tasks.
