Insurance Risk Manager

The Insurance Risk Manager is a senior position that oversees the bank's insurance portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing coverage for potential risks.

  1. Supervises the renewal of insurance policies to ensure timely implementation and adherence to regulatory aspects.
  2. Oversees the analysis of current insurance documents to select the best offers, coverages, and prices, and assesses whether they meet the bank's needs and cover expected risks.
  3. Identifies emerging or anticipated risks, assesses the possibility of insuring against them, and documents recommendations for submission to management.
  4. Reviews auditing statements and invoices from insurance companies, follows up on claims, and coordinates with relevant departments.
  5. Develops insurance-related studies to inform departmental needs, introduce new services, and communicate policy modifications.
  6. Periodically reviews insurance policies to ensure comprehensive risk coverage, studies the possibility of covering new services, and updates policies accordingly.
  7. Prepares an annual summary of policy terms and requirements, providing it to concerned departments and management.
  8. Evaluates individual product claims and recommends preliminary approval for coverage.
  9. Manages relationships with insurance companies, responding to inquiries regarding claims or policy terms.
  10. Serves as a member of emergency teams, performing tasks assigned by the Business Continuity Plan to minimize crisis impact.

Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of practical experience in insurance.
  • Full proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with relevant systems.
  • Ability to motivate and work as part of a team.
  • Understanding of internal and external policies governing work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle work pressure.
