Job Title: Technical Security Specialist

At Braintrust, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for safeguarding our remote end-user devices and cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Security: Monitor and secure on-site networks remotely and cloud systems against threats and unauthorized access.
  • Security Policy Development: Develop and implement security policies and protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and recover from security incidents and breaches, and analyze security breaches to determine their root cause and implement preventive measures.
  • Training and Guidance: Train and guide staff on information security best practices and stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and hacker tactics.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with IT and other departments to improve security and report findings and suggest improvements to higher management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in an information security role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or similar are highly preferred.
