About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Relations Officer to join our team at Talabat. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies and stakeholders to drive business growth and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Government Liaison: Coordinating with government agencies, such as the Ministry of Interior and the General Department of Traffic, to resolve any matters or accidents related to our company.
  • Customs and Airport Procedures: Processing all relevant tasks related to customs, airport, and other bodies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Vehicle Registration and Renewal: Assisting departments in resolving any issues related to company vehicle registration and renewal.
  • Document Attestation: Arranging the processing of attestation of any related documents.
  • Official Documents: Assisting in renewing official documents of the company, such as trade licenses, chamber of commerce, CR, import licenses, and municipality licenses.
  • New Activities and Branches: Assisting in carrying out procedures for adding new activities to the entity's CR and obtaining necessary approvals and licenses.
  • Directorship and Staff Health Certificates: Assisting in carrying out procedures of adding/removing directors on the company's legal documents and issuing health certificates for all staff.
  • Document Attestation and Delivery: Attesting documents before the ministries and embassies whenever required and delivering correspondence to stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Maintaining and building good relationships with several ministries to create a positive image of the company and boost company interests.
  • Compliance and Customer Support: Executing amendment transactions via the official website of the related authority, following up with reviews and requirements, and handling customer complaints filed at the Consumer Protection Authority.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Very good English language skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Be up to date concerning any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws, rules, regulations, changes in forms, formats, and other procedures, and keep the Government Relations Department advised of such changes.
