**Job Description**

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing material handling systems, ensuring efficient production processes, and driving innovation in DAP manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading engineering projects focused on material handling systems within DAP production facilities, from design to implementation and optimization.
  • Developing strategies to enhance material flow efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall productivity in material handling operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate material handling systems seamlessly with DAP production processes.
  • Conducting assessments of existing material handling equipment, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing upgrades for enhanced performance.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on material handling best practices, standards, and technologies.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline material handling processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements in all material handling activities.
  • Mentoring and supporting engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field); Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in material handling and DAP production processes.
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering project management and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in handling complex engineering systems and implementing upgrades.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in production environments.
  • Native Arabic speaker.
  • Excellent command of English.
