Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Systems Management
    • Ensure that all security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, are functioning smoothly and efficiently.
    • Initiate immediate corrective action when faults are detected, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Assist management, employees, and guests in every way possible to ensure their safety and security.
    • Coordinate with various departments and government agencies on routine matters and during emergencies, ensuring a swift and effective response.
  • Monitoring and Reporting
    • Monitor back-of-house areas, including unauthorized entry and exit points, to prevent security breaches.
    • Maintain accurate records in respective log books for future reference and to inform management of any security incidents.
  • Inventory and Maintenance
    • Conduct regular inventory checks on keys, passes, walkie-talkies, pagers, and other accountable stock to prevent loss or theft.
    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the hotel security room and surrounding areas.
  • Training and Compliance
    • Be fully conversant with hotel fire and life safety/emergency procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
    • Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
    • Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings assigned by management to stay up-to-date on security protocols and procedures.
  • Personal Conduct
    • Report for duty on time, wearing clean and complete uniform at all times, maintaining a professional appearance.
    • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times, reflecting positively on the hotel and Accor brand.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position, with a proven track record of ensuring security and safety in a fast-paced environment.
