Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain situational awareness of potential breaches and promptly address them to prevent data loss.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, examining system logs and other relevant data sources to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and maintain effective security tools and technologies to enhance our digital defenses.
  • Develop and conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to stay ahead of emerging risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • Support during security audits and assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and protocols (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SIEM).
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly valued.
