Treasury Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Director to join our team at BDO Jordan Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing treasury functions, developing treasury strategy, and overseeing the implementation of new digital banking technologies.

• Managing Treasury Functions: Collaborate with stakeholders and the finance team to manage treasury functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Developing Treasury Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive treasury strategy, including policies and procedures, to minimize foreign exchange risks and enhance return on FX cash positions.
• Implementing Digital Banking Technologies: Oversee the implementation of new digital banking technologies and services to improve treasury functions and simplify organizational operations.
• Foreign Exchange Management: Develop and maintain a framework for foreign exchange management, ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet international institution requirements.
• Hedging Activities: Use hedging to mitigate market and financial risks related to interest rates and currency positions.
• Advising Management: Provide advice on liquidity aspects of short- and long-range planning, ensuring that the company's financial position is optimized.
• Internal Control Procedures: Maintain a system of relevant internal control procedures to ensure an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
