Treasury Director

BDO Jordan Academy is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Director to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing treasury functions, developing treasury strategies, and overseeing the implementation of new digital banking technologies.

• Manage Treasury Functions: Collaborate with stakeholders and the finance team to ensure effective treasury operations.
• Develop Treasury Strategy: Create and implement policies, procedures, and frameworks to minimize foreign exchange risks and enhance return on FX cash positions.
• Implement Digital Banking Technologies: Oversee the adoption of new technologies to improve treasury functions and simplify organizational operations.
• Foreign Exchange Management: Develop and maintain a framework to manage foreign exchange risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Hedging Activities: Use hedging to mitigate interest rate and currency risks, and maintain banking relationships.
• Advisory Role: Provide liquidity insights to management for short- and long-range planning.
• Internal Control Procedures: Establish and maintain a system of internal control procedures to ensure adequate control over treasury activities.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly inputs to consolidated reporting packages and participate in cross-functional efforts to improve reporting and analysis capabilities.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury management, financial planning, and risk mitigation. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
