Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and administration activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility and Administration Activities: Take care of overall facility and administration activities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Technical Checks: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks according to our PPM schedule to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty or AMC, ensuring timely and effective maintenance.
  • Energy Consumption: Monitor and record energy consumption readings to optimize our energy usage.
  • DG Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on our diesel generators to ensure they are running efficiently.
  • Conveyor System Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials.
  • Control Systems: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, and other related systems.
  • Production Support: Provide dedicated support to our production team by working in a safe and customer-focused manner.
  • Minor Refurbishment: Perform minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
  • Fire Safety: Conduct regular checks on fire alarms and fire extinguishers to ensure our facilities are safe.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance and repair tasks on carts, trolleys, pumps, rolling shutters, and other equipment.
  • Electrical Works: Attend regular electrical works and ensure all electrical systems are functioning properly.
  • Height and Hot Work: Perform height work and issue hot work permits as required.
  • Civil and Plumbing Maintenance: Perform minor civil and plumbing corrective maintenance calls.
  • Reporting and Tools Inventory: Provide daily reports on TT closures and open cases, and update tools inventory.
  • PPM Schedule Maintenance: Ensure all PPM schedule maintenance is completed on time.
  • Soft Services: Take care of soft services activities, including pest control, housekeeping, scrap and garbage disposal.
