Peacebuilding Communications Specialist

As a Peacebuilding Communications Specialist, you will develop and implement communication strategies that promote URI MENA's objectives. These strategies will enhance the visibility of URI MENA in the region by implementing targeted communication measures.
You will maintain relationships with stakeholders, promoting open lines of communication and involving them in strategic initiatives. This includes building and maintaining partnerships to strengthen the URI MENA network.
In addition, you will advise and support cooperation circles in Jordan, especially in the areas of interfaith dialogue and peace work. Your role requires strong organizational and project management skills to effectively plan, implement, and monitor communications projects.
You will be responsible for proper spending and administration of funds on the ground in accordance with donor guidelines and specifications. To achieve this, you will work in partnership with colleagues from the partner organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement communication strategies to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders and promote open lines of communication
- Buid and maintain partnerships to strengthen the URI MENA network
- Advise and support cooperation circles in Jordan in interfaith dialogue and peace work
- Implement targeted communication measures to enhance URI MENA's visibility in the region
- At least a Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, interfaith studies, international relations, or a comparable field
- At least two years of experience in public relations and media relations as well as stakeholder engagement
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Digital communications knowledge, including website management, content creation, e-marketing, and social media strategies
- Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies
- Individual and comprehensive preparation
- Three-year contract with social security and remuneration according to the Development Aid Act
- Further training in the country, language, or other professional skills, as well as coaching and supervision
