Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide technical and administrative leadership to the project, serving as its technical liaison and ensuring effective management of technical and administrative functions and field coordination.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to government stakeholders to advance systems strengthening efforts and policy reform in education.
  • Capacity Strengthening: Integrate local capacity strengthening approaches and gender equity and social inclusion (GESI) into all activities as appropriate.
  • Reporting and Communications: Ensure the timely preparation of required reports and deliverables, including annual workplans, quarterly, and annual reports in accordance with USAID guidelines.
  • Knowledge Management: Facilitate knowledge management, communications, and information flow for program implementation.
  • Representation: Represent the project in local, national, and international meetings and events in the absence of the COP.
  • Support to COP: Assist the COP in other technical and managerial tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, international development, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in project management, technical expertise, and experience working with government stakeholders.
  • Strong background in project management, technical expertise, and experience working with government stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
