About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in the Yemen office. This is a critical role that will play a key part in ensuring the effective management of our finances and resources.

Job Description
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Yemen office, ensuring compliance with UNICEF's financial policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, as well as monitor and report on expenditure throughout the year.
  • Collaborate with program managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Supervise a team of financial staff, providing coaching and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an international organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP/VISION and Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluency in English, with knowledge of Arabic an asset.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
