Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Supply Chain Strategist to join our team in MENA Region. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for facilitating the provision of technical assistance to country offices, providing oversight and guidance on supply chain management processes and procedures, and supporting the implementation of regional supply initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in supply, procurement, shipping and logistics activities, preferably with UNICEF or an international organization. Fluency in English and another UN working language is required, with knowledge of local languages desirable.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with country offices to establish appropriate KPIs, benchmarks, and targets, and monitor performance and progress to agreed targets.
  • Provide technical advice, oversight, and guidance on supply chain management processes and procedures to country offices.
  • Support the implementation of regional supply initiatives, including supplier evaluation, local market shaping, sustainable procurement guidance, barcoding, and inventory applications.
  • Ensure strong coordination between country offices, regional office, and supply division during emergency responses, including mobilization of human and financial resources.

We offer a competitive salary of $125,000 - $175,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
