Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Transmed. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for maintaining the petty cash fund, preparing daily collection reports, and ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Petty Cash Fund Management
    • Prepare petty cash vouchers and book them daily on the JDE system to maintain an up-to-date general ledger.
    • Monitor and control petty cash disbursements to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Cash Collection and Reporting
    • Prepare daily collection reports to book collections in the receivables' accounts.
    • Prepare lists of checks to deposit collections in the bank.
    • Confirm that maturing post-date checks are properly deposited on time.
  • Stamp Management
    • Monitor the consumption of stamps and ensure they are properly posted on credit receipts, credit returns, vans' invoices, and clients' credit and debit notes.
  • Transmed Purpose
    • Act as a role model by living the Transmed Purpose on a daily basis.
  • Education and Experience
    • University degree in Accounting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
