About the Role
We are seeking a highly committed and experienced Policy Compliance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Central Support Services Division, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with procurement, logistics, administration, and contracting processes. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of efficiency, competence, and integrity.
Responsibilities
As a Policy Compliance Lead, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a technical expert on compliance matters related to procurement, logistics, administration, and contracting.
- Conducting compliance audits, quality reviews, and risk assessments to enhance accountability in procurement, logistics, administration, and contracting.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Providing strategic guidance to leadership and operational teams on compliance-related risks and best practices.
- Overseeing performance indicators for CSSD performance and providing monthly performance monitoring reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An advanced university degree in business administration, public administration, supply chain, law, or a related field.
- A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible relevant experience in procurement, contract management, supply chain, administration in the public or private sector.
- A total of five years of work experience directly related to first-hand experience in audit, compliance, internal controls with a strong understanding and knowledge of procurement at an international level.
- At least two continuous years of relevant international experience outside UNRWA and outside the country(s) of citizenship.
- At least five years of work experience managing diverse teams.
