About the Role

The Green Generation Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Climate Fundraising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our climate-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our event organizers to develop a strategic fundraising plan aligned with our goals, objectives, and budget.
  • Conduct research to identify potential individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and other funding sources interested in supporting climate-related initiatives.
  • Support in mobilizing funds to conduct our annual Climate March event.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations, preferably in the nonprofit sector and/or within the field of environmental or climate justice.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas in a clear, persuasive manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, partners, and volunteers.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing successful fundraising strategies and achieving fundraising targets.
