About the Programme

The Programme and Accountability to Affected People Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of programmes that promote gender equality and women's empowerment. The successful candidate will work closely with programme teams to design and implement accountability frameworks, ensuring that programmes are responsive to the needs of affected populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement accountability frameworks that promote transparency, accountability, and participation in programme design and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with programme teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and lessons learned in programme design and implementation.
  • Develop and implement capacity development initiatives to build the skills and knowledge of programme staff and partners.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to programme teams to ensure that programmes are designed and implemented in a way that promotes gender equality and women's empowerment.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for programme adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge management systems to ensure that lessons learned and best practices are documented and shared.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent in social sciences, human rights, gender/women's studies, international development, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in capacity development, programme design and implementation, and gender and protection.
  • Experience working with government and national institutions, as well as with local women's organizations and civil society organizations.
  • Sound knowledge of global best practices around accountability to affected people.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
