About the Role & Team

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the SITA GNCC team, responsible for building and deploying service configurations, including operational fault management for SITA-managed VERSA SD-WAN solutions. The ideal candidate will configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN solutions to resolve customer technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, configure, and support SD-WAN Underlay and Overlay.
  • Manage and maintain the operational integrity of the company's security and data networks, responding to incidents and alerts, and providing occasional out-of-hours technical support.
  • Configure, manage, and operate firewalls, load balancers, SD-WAN architectures, and WAN automation technologies.
  • Participate in the planning, deployment, and delivery of network-related projects, including global SD-WAN deployment.
  • Gather information, configure templates, create Device Groups and Devices, and onboard devices using main provisioning and onboarding methods.
  • Oversee the SD-WAN managed service for customers, ensuring optimized configurations.
  • Implement, deploy, and provide L2/L3 support for network devices, LAN, WAN, Firewall, network troubleshooting/configuration, etc.
  • Work with Datacenter switching, e.g., Cisco Nexus, ACI.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF; and optional EIGRP, RIP, QOS.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (ASA & PALO ALTO).
  • Schedule updates for customer services, participate in meetings and reviews, and provide reports on performance and projects.
  • Perform troubleshooting and incident management for high-priority issues, ensuring resolution within service level agreements.
  • Experience in network automation through scripting languages like Python, Ansible, Jason, etc.
  • Handle customer technical enquiries and service-related enquiries.
  • Support knowledge sharing and training, both internally and with customer teams.
  • Support the Project Manager and/or Customer Success Specialist with coordination of final delivery/migration steps.
  • Provide insights and recommendations regarding customers' networks and their optimization, performing operations specialist duties during shifts to monitor SLA/OLA and ensure all measures are taken to avoid breaches.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in the Information Technology/Telecom Industry.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering and Computer Technologies is a must.
  • Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting successful technical customer solutions.
  • Working experience on enterprise customers projects: Network Solutions (MPLS & SDWAN).
  • Strong understanding of Firewalls Architecture with hands-on experience.
  • Strong experience with Complex Routing & Switching Environments.
  • Ability to work independently is critical.
  • Experience in implementing patches.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Customer Support and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Change management/Project Management knowledge along with ITIL knowledge.
  • Be autonomous and agile in changing environments, with a sense of initiative and proactivity.
  • Strong communication & Analytical skills.
  • Quality and process-oriented.
  • Attention to detail, understanding of process interlocks and dependencies.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
  • CCNA/NP is mandatory.
  • Any Security Associate level certification is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience in the following tech stack: MPLS IPVPN, SDWAN VERSA (Preferred) / Viptela/Cisco, Network Boost, Riverbed, Z-Scalar, Voice - IP Telephony & security, routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIPV2, MPLS, MPLS VPN, VoIP, ISDN DDR, Dial Solutions (PPP/L2F), Switching, DSL, IPSEC, GRE, Tunnelling, Underlay & Overlay protocols. Cat2900 series, Cat3550/3650 series, Cat3750, Cat4500, Cat6500 series, Nexus switches, Wireless LAN.
