HVAC Technician Role

V2X Inc is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing field and sustainment level maintenance, including PMCS and unscheduled services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including installations, inspections, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and respond to internal temperature alarms in communication facilities.
  • Coordinate with Logistics and Site Lead for the delivery of materials and parts, and submit weekly status reports.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to users, and arrange for the return and replacement of defective items under warranty.
  • Support Logistics & Procurement to update parts substitutions in the maintenance system.
  • Maintain accountability and serviceability of assigned assets and equipment, including calibration.
  • Monitor repair parts usage and submit monthly requirements for procurement action.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications of formal industry training received.
  • OSHA 10 Hour General Industry certification.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Five (5) years of hands-on experience in the related field, including installation in commercial and industrial categories.
  • Familiarity with ECU's from package to split units for various brands.
