ION Developer

On behalf of a leading real estate development and construction firm in Dublin, we are looking to hire a Senior Accountant.

Working alongside the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role, managing several large-scale construction projects across Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including reconciliations and journals.
  
• Assist in the accounting and review of job cost reports on a regular basis.
  
• Liaising with QS in relation to job reports and subcontractors.
  
• Cashflow reporting to manage income expected and payments due.
  
• Management of Subcontractor claims and payments ensuring compliance with RCT.
  
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  
• Assist in the annual year-end audit of both consolidating and non-consolidating entities to ensure its completion in a timely manner.
  

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with 2+ years post qualified experience.
  
• Relevant industry experience in construction, real estate, engineering preferred but not essential.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Ability to adapt to new accounting software.
