Role Description The General Practitioner will provide primary medical care to patients, including conducting consultations, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include managing acute and chronic conditions, providing preventive care, vaccinations, and health education, and coordinating referrals to specialty clinics as needed. The role involves working collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality patient care. The General Practitioner will maintain accurate medical records, follow clinical protocols, and contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman. Qualifications
• Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience managing diverse patient populations.
• Competence in Family Medicine, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Experience or interest in providing Training and mentorship to junior staff or clinical trainees.
• Valid medical degree and licensure as a General Practitioner, Family Physician, or equivalent, recognized in Jordan.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered and culturally sensitive approach.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records.
