Company Description FastRabbit is a leading IT service management firm based in Jordan and Dubai, providing comprehensive technology solutions to organizations across various sectors. The company offers IT outsourcing, full infrastructure services including installation, assessment, and support, and active and passive project management. FastRabbit also delivers end-to-end security design and implementation for IT services, project management for the full Microsoft product range, and strategic consultation services. The company holds Gold partnerships with major IT service providers, giving team members exposure to advanced technologies and high-impact projects. Role Description The Accountant at FastRabbit will manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. This role will prepare and review financial statements, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies. The Accountant will support month-end and year-end closing activities, maintain accurate financial records, and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, requiring regular coordination with management to provide financial analysis and reporting that supports business decision-making. Qualifications
• Strong accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of local tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements in Jordan.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in an accounting role, preferably within the IT or services sector.
