Optimiza is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our rapidly growing team of data professionals. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models that drive actionable insights and improve overall business performance. Your expertise will be critical in transforming data into AI-powered solutions that address real-world challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of machine learning models, from conception through to production deployment, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to define and refine model requirements based on business needs.
  • Experiment with various data sources, algorithms, and techniques to optimize model performance and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough experiments and performance evaluations, documenting findings and iterating on solutions.
  • Engage in continuous learning to remain at the forefront of machine learning technologies and trends.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure and pipelines for machine learning applications.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related role.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with extensive experience using libraries like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
  • Experienced in cloud machine learning platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong data manipulation skills and expertise with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant certifications in AI/ML technologies are a significant advantage.
