Optimiza is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our talented analytics team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to develop advanced analytical models, drive data-driven decision-making, and provide strategic insights that empower our clients to succeed in their digital transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business strategies and operations.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and proficiency within the team.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and best practices.
  • Collaborate on data collection and preparation processes, ensuring data quality and integrity for analysis.
  • Contribute to the presentation of findings through reports and visualizations, ensuring clarity and relevance for various audiences.
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
