The team ensures optimal performance and availability of each wind turbine, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of renewable energy production in the region.ResponsibilitiesAs a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of wind turbines across various sites in Jordan. Your key responsibilities include:Work to the highest safety and environmental standards, strictly adhering to Vestas policies and proceduresConduct periodic service inspections in line with Vestas specifications, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systemsDiagnose and resolve faults efficiently to minimize downtime, including component replacement and system adjustmentsEnsure smooth turbine operation through condition monitoring systems and remote control toolsMaintain a well-equipped service vehicle and warehouse by managing inventory and ordering necessary tools, materials, and spare partsAssemble and disassemble minor and major components following documented instructions and technical guidelinesQualificationsElectrical Diploma accompanied by a passion to develop your skills further within the fieldGood computer skills, experienced in handling different tools or systems to monitor work and documentationGood English skills, both written and spokenValid driver's licenseCompetenciesHealth & Safety CommitmentDemonstrates a strong understanding of and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance in all work activitiesPhysical Capability & ResilienceAble to climb wind turbines and perform physically demanding tasks at height and in varying weather conditionsFlexibility & MobilityWillingness to travel to different wind farm sites across Jordan and support operations as neededTeamwork & CommunicationEnjoys working collaboratively with field teams and engaging with various stakeholders across the businessProblem Solving & OrganizationSolutions-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with strong organizational skillsWhat we offerWe offer the chance to join the global leader in sustainable energy solutions, with the training and development to match.
