Job Description- Cloud kitchen manager manages multi-unit cloud kitchens within Jordan.
- Cloud kitchen manager manages the overall business operation of cloud kitchens in multiple areas such as operations in collaboration with, logistics, brand onboarding, branding, food safety standards, legal compliance, third party service providers, and suppliers, and operating partners.
- Cloud kitchen manager leads the kitchen team in managing and achieving kitchen performance matrix, formulating strategic plans thereof.
- The incumbent is also expected to manage the company's financial resources and kitchen profitability.
- Along with the Food Safety Team, arrange snag list inspection prior to kitchen handover and manage the closure of all issues / potential issues noted and observed during the inspection. These are the most important steps to facilitate successful kitchen pre-opening handover.
- Ensure that all aspects of project handover are carried out before receiving the kitchen from the project team including, among others, receiving all applicable legal documents such as trade license, branding permits, facility management contracts, asset lists, equipment warranty details, landlord's details etc.
- Ensure that all requirements are put in place prior to kitchen opening such as, manpower requirement, brand onboarding requirements, facility management and utility contracts (AMC), staff facility welfare provisions, internet and connectivity, IT kitchen techs, POS, kitchen laptop, chemicals and other hygiene supplies, etc.
- For moving in partners, ensure that all requirements are complied with e.g. equipment, layout, legal documents, security checks, food safety requirements, staffing, and other business related supports.
- Manage effective communications for all parties prior to and during partners going live and address potential challenges thereafter.
- Ensures that all partners' requirements from the kitchen shall be provided and addressed in a timely manner.
- Manage partners utility charges and provides the needed documents for partners information and visibility
- Food Safety and Legal Compliance
- Manage food safety compliance of every operating partners in the kitchen and implement Food Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Talabat Kitchens and operating partner brands
- In coordination with the Food Safety Department, kitchen manager ensures that all partners going live complies with all food safety related requirements such as Trade License, updated Kiosk Permits, Staff food safety training, OHC, PIC, food safety checklists and other requirements.
- Manages food safety inspections by operations team, handles food safety audits by food safety department, partners' food safety or outsourced audits, and municipality audits.
- Allocate resources for purchases of food safety related utensils for partners (when partners don't provide), municipality fines, training expenses and ensure timely recovery against partners sales, with partners information and consent.
- Monitors kiosk permits validity and timely initiates renewal before expiry dates of these permits.
- Timely recommend to food safety team on partners stall closures for failure to adher food safety requirements.
Must Have:
Native Jordanian candidate is required for this role.
Jordan driving license.
Proven experience in kitchen management preferably in cloud kitchen environment, QSR or similar environment.
Strong background and understanding of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Proven track records of providing excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication skills and experience in managing a multi-cultural and racial team.
Bachelor's Degree graduate in Business Management, Logistics or related field.
At least 10 years experience in F&B operations or logistics, 5 years in management roles.
Ability to work flexible hours, including night, weekends and holidays
