Oversight and support to Treasury Trading team members.

Managing and monitoring FX, IR & Commodity risks.

Support  Head – Treasury Trading to develop FX & IR risk management strategies.

Manage FX & IR risks and perform activities in line with approved strategy.

Ensure strict adherence to policies governing the Treasury Trading activities by trading team members.

Ensuring the effective controls environment of the Trading and wider Treasury unit.

Communicating the main FX & IR trading issues, risks, and challenges to the Group Head & Head – Treasury Trading and other stakeholders.

Managing relationships with internal and external parties, including banks, BOJ international branches, Middle Office, Treasury Risk, and TROPS.

Undertake strategic FX & IR analysis and recommend hedging strategy and hedge requirements.

Degree qualified, ideally postgraduate in a quantitative discipline (E.g. finance, mathematics , engineering , economics, etc.)§ Treasury qualifications from a recognized body.

Minimum of 8 years' experience in active FX & Interest Rates or a combination of FX & Interest Rates and Treasury risk focused roles, ideally from a global bank or a large regional bank.

Experienced in modelling, statistics , and/or financial mathematics

Good understanding of Treasury best practice (e.g. Basel Committee of Banking Supervision and/or other frameworks)

Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point.

Effective Leader and team player.

Good communication and presentations skills within treasuary function and related departments.

Fluent command in English.

Proactive self-starter that searches for solutions.
