We're looking for a talented Frontend Developer for a fully remote position to spearhead our application development process and support the maintenance of our existing apps.   • Build and maintain both web applications for our organization using Angular as the fundamental languages.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure applications align with the organization's goals, as well as customer needs.
  • Oversee the performance of applications to ensure they're always running properly.
  • Improve our overall application development process and continuously find ways to advance our apps.
Responsibilities
  • Build web applications in Angular.
  • Find solutions to security threats, viruses, or errors that might hinder the performance of applications.
  • Carry out regular security and performance checks
  • Remain current on technology trends to keep our software as innovative as possible.
  • Stay on track of the application lifecycle to ensure necessary updates are completed on time.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Angular software development
  • Sound understanding of Angular Material or Material Design.
  • Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  • Good experience of testing framework and test runner framework.
  • Sound understanding of Components, Directives, Services, View References (Parent/Child/Injection), Routing, Lifecycle processing.
  • Understanding concepts of S.O.L.I.D. Principles, IOC/DI, and S.O.C. (if possible)
  • Good understanding of git and git flow.
  • Good experience of REST API integration
  • Good understanding of reactive programming paradigms
  • Unit Testing experience
  • Deep understanding of core programming principles, including design.
  • Possess good communication skills, follow directions based on development architecture and patterns and work in a team setting.
  • Possess the ability to present suggestions and engage on brainstorming sessions.
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
Nice to have:
  • Proficiency with project tracking software, such as Jira
  • Good understanding of REGEX will be advantageous
  • Certification in application development.
  • Experience working as part of a development team
  • Project management experience.
