We are looking for a strong Senior iOS Developer to join our dynamic team of developers, helping to expand and enhance our iOS application to meet the needs of our growing user base.

You will play a pivotal role throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with other iOS developers, Android developers, web client developers, server developers, designers, product owners, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable mobile solutions that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Play a senior role in code reviews, ensuring high quality and consistency while guiding the team towards best practices.
• Design, develop and maintain advanced iOS features, working within small cross-functional teams to deliver new functionality, anticipate challenges, and drive effective solutions.
• Apply modern development practices, frameworks and tools to improve app performance and enhance user experience.
• Uphold clean code principles and maintain rigorous coding standards.
• Write and maintain unit tests.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as an iOS developer.
• Extensive experience with Swift, including exposure to SwiftUI.
• Proficient use of source control tools such as Git.
• Strong understanding of native iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
• Familiarity with MVVM practices and comfortable with a transitioning codebase.
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM work environments.
• Ability to produce maintainable, clean code and comfortable writing unit tests.
• Familiarity with issue tracking software such as Jira.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Protocol-Oriented Development.
• Experience with SOLID Principles and Clean Code Architecture.
• Experience working closely with QA teams and automated testing.
• Experience providing and receiving constructive pull-request feedback.

The successful candidate must have a good standard of English, both written and spoken.

From time to time, there may be some travel to the UK office.

As a minimum, the candidate must be in-office for 2 days a week, aligned to the rest of the Engineering team in Amman.
