Task/ Job Summary

The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for Android devices. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver seamless and user-friendly app experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, and modern mobile development best practices.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.
  • Implement responsive, adaptive, and modern UI following Android design guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Debug, profile, and optimize application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, libraries, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Android development.
  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin and the Android
  • Experience with Coroutines and reactive programming (Flow,
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and XML
  • Strong knowledge of MVVM architectural design
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and third-party library
  • Knowledge of Android lifecycle, navigation components, and state
  • Proficient with Git version control
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication
  • Experience with Room, WorkManager, and Jetpack

Nice to Have

  • CI/CD experience for Android apps.
  • Published apps on Google Play Store
