**Position Overview**


International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, is seeking a skilled Associate Investment Officer to join its Aman office. This role will involve sourcing and executing new investment transactions and supervising existing portfolio accounts.



**Key Responsibilities**




  • Evaluate and structure new transactions, including negotiating and closing deals;
  • Oversee select portfolio accounts, including portfolio restructurings, rescheduling, capital increases, and equity sales;
  • Develop financial models to support portfolio management and analysis;
  • Coordinate with social, environmental, and technical teams to find sustainable solutions for portfolio companies;
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks, and ensure timely reporting.


**Requirements**




  • Master's degree with 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Strong background in finance, with expertise in investment sourcing, structuring, and closing, as well as loan and equity portfolio management;
  • Proven financial modeling skills and strong credit analysis capabilities;
  • Knowledge of regional industry trends and local market dynamics in MCT countries;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and knowledge of Arabic or other MCT regional languages an advantage.
