Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Management and Rewards Specialist to join our team at the Bank of Jordan. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing performance evaluation and job enrichment programs, as well as planning, developing, updating, and managing compensation and benefits programs for the bank, its subsidiaries, and external branches.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Performance Evaluation Programs: Participate in the development and implementation of performance evaluation programs that align with the bank's strategic HR goals and policies.
  2. Manage Compensation and Benefits Programs: Plan, develop, update, and manage compensation and benefits programs for the bank, its subsidiaries, and external branches, ensuring equal opportunities internally and externally.
  3. Review Employee Incentive Programs: Review employee incentive programs, conduct necessary analyses, and adjust them as needed to meet business requirements while upholding principles of fairness and equality.
  4. Conduct Salary Surveys: Conduct regular salary surveys in the banking market, collaborate with specialized companies, and provide necessary data to reflect the bank's competitive position.
  5. Evaluate Wage Differentials: Evaluate wage differentials among job families of the same grade and address any disparities or justify them as per standards.
  6. Approve Compensation and Benefits Requests: Review and approve compensation, benefits, and salary-related requests after studying them to meet bank requirements and policies.
  7. Collaborate with Organization Unit: Collaborate with the Organization Unit to ensure updated job descriptions for all bank positions are in line with the approved compensation programs.
  8. Work with Talent Acquisition Unit: Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Unit to determine compensations for recruits without causing disruptions and maintaining balance with other jobs at the same level.
  9. Assess Performance: Assess performance throughout the year by monitoring all departments and sections across the bank and its external branches, including data collection, analysis, and using modern evaluation methods.
  10. Provide Support and Guidance: Provide necessary support, guidance, and training to all employees in setting goals, establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and achieving desired goals.
  11. Contribute to Development Plans: Contribute to the development plans in coordination with managers and employees to address performance gaps in collaboration with other HR units.
  12. Address Performance Issues: Address any problems or obstacles hindering employees from achieving their goals in coordination with direct managers and relevant departments.
  13. Participate in Talent Management: Participate in implementing talent management plans and programs to meet the institution's aspirations and achieve its goals.
  14. Develop Career Paths: Develop career paths for talents within the institution and participate in developing competitive compensation and benefits programs linked to an advanced performance evaluation system.
  15. Contribute to Human Resources Planning: Contribute to the development and application of Human Resources Planning activities for the bank and its subsidiaries, including Succession Planning and Career Development Planning.
  16. Support Continuity of Business Operations: Act as a core/alternate member within the Continuity of Business Operations and Emergency Response teams, executing all assigned tasks under the plan to minimize crisis impacts and restore operations as soon as possible.
