We are seeking a highly skilled Communication and Multimedia Officer to join our team at UNDP Careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multi-sectorial programming, graphic design, monitoring and evaluation, and media relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of communication strategies and plans.
  • Design and produce visual materials, including graphics, videos, and audio recordings.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's website and social media presence.
  • Develop and implement media relations strategies to promote the organization's work and achievements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and plans.
Requirements
  • Advanced university degree in Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in communication, graphic design, and media relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
  • Experience in community engagement and development.
Desirable Skills
  • Practical experience in graphic design, including the use of design software.
  • Practical experience in multi-media software for preparing videos and sound recordings.
  • Knowledge and experience with websites and content management systems.
  • Experience and knowledge in media and reporting protocols.
Language Requirements
  • Fluency in English is required. Working knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
